Some People Really Want Free Chick-Fil-A

This morning at 6am a new Chick-Fil-A, the chicken-centric fast food chain, opened in Des Peres to a line of a few die-hard fans that camped out last night, in the bitter cold, to be among the first to enter the restaurant. St. Louis Girl Scouts Changing Cookie Names

The Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri have gone mad with power. Sure we guess it’s within the rules to create a division called “The Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri” even though it sounds dumb, but to start just willy nilly changing time-honored cookie names?! We don’t think there is ever an excuse to punch a little girl in the face but…we guess there is now. The Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri have switched bakeries after 20 years, from Little Brownie Bakers, a subsidiary of Keebler, to ABC Bakers, a subsidiary of Interbake Foods. [Read More]

Yet Another Way to Have Denny’s Kill You: Have the Police Shoot You in the Leg

Dude just wanted to get a Moon’s Over My Hammy…really really bad. Now he’s got a hole in his leg after unsuccessfully attempting to break-in to the South Hampton Denny’s (just south of hwy 40) and approaching a cop with his hands in his pocket. According to police, witnesses stated the suspect approached the restaurant attempting to get inside. Restaurant employees informed the suspect the restaurant was closed. Wentzville High School Grad Wins Survivor

We don’t watch Survivor because we don’t suck, but lots of other people do and a few of them told us that the student/male model on there, nicknamed “Fabio”, who won, happens to be from the St. Louis area. Pretty boy Jud Birza, better known to fans as Fabio, beat Chase Rice by one vote to take the title of Sole Survivor and the million-dollar prize. The Kyle Turley Band at Old Rock House This Sunday

Friend-of-the-site, former St. Louis Ram and current country music artist, Kyle Turley will be making a stop in St. Louis Sunday to play at the Old Rock House after two of his former teams go at it in the Edward Jones Dome, which by the way is officially no longer the worst NFL dome, so big congrats there for the Rams!
