Lambert Airport to Go 100% Smoke Free, Still Plans to Allow Crapiness

His Mayorness, Francis Slay, announced yesterday that Lambert Airport is going 100% smoke free starting on January 2nd, 2011. The move conicides with the earlier removal of major airline hubs, any semblance of security, and decent flights that don’t involve you going the wrong direction for 6 hours to get to a real airport to make your connecting flight. [T]he city will close — and eventually tear down — the five airport smoking lounges on Jan. [Read More]

WTF: Shirtless Smoking of a St Louis Rey Cigar

This has little to do with anything other than it popped up on one of our random internet searches tonight for “St. Louis”: It’s a dude, shirtless, smoking some cigar with the name of St. Louis, on his couch. Five minutes long. Not a word.

Oh and he’s made nearly 2,000 more videos, just like this one!

We have no freaking clue what the point of any of this (pretty sure its probably a “sexy to someone” kinda deal)…but we felt like it was worth sharing.

The St. Peters Police Department says they’ve had trouble with spitting in the past, and they say they even see people spitting who are waiting in line at the courthouse. [Read More]

If a ban passes, Lake St. Louis would be the first city in St. Charles County to be smoke free. Well there’s something to hang your hat on. No more smoking in all the fine Lake St. [Read More]

Today’s top goings on… FourSquare officially launched in St. Louis! (We told you…just sayin.) Pujols freaked out the Cardinals with his comments on some crazy Dominican radio station. The RFT took an idea off the table for us by exploring the W00t! offices. Metro Link gives up and ask the rest of us for ideas. Can’t get any worse I guess. Bowling allies are freaking out about the smoking bans. [Read More]

Clayton Bans Smoking, University City Complains Clayton Used to Be Cool

Tuesday night, while everyone was watching the National League lose for the 13th year in a row, Clayton’s government was at work banning smoking in all public places. …kinda. You can smoke inside, if you operate a cigar bar or tobacco shop, or are in one of the 20% of hotel rooms that can still allow it, and of course patios. …or actually its still cool if you are in any currently established public place until July, 1st 2010.
