St. Louis Maker of Tea Party Coloring Book Receives Death Threats

“The Tea Party Coloring Book for Kids” is described on coloringbook.com as:

The newest, latest and the greatest on Tea Party info for kids that’s colossal fun and informative! This book is a “must have” for children and parents to learn more about The Tea Party. A very pleasant song, coloring and activity book!

…because having screaming matches in the street with the nutcases from the other side of the political aisle is only half the fun! Bringing your kids, that just want to play and be kids, in to fray is the just as important. If we can’t mess up our own kids then who will? Terrorists, Muslims or Mexicans that’s who! We can’t let that happen. USA USA! Don’t worry, little Timmy will eventually grow to love his Glenn Beck tattoo.

Examples from the book include:

“When taxes are too high, the high tax takes away jobs and freedom,”

and

“In 1773 we had a Tea Party and this led to freedom from high taxes. Today we are having another Tea Party and this will lead to freedom from high taxes again!”

But before you start to argue with your computer screen none of this is political.

“We’re not really making a political statement,” he told Hotsheet, noting that his company publishes books on a range of topics, including the Rockettes and Cirque de Soleil. He stressed that the book did not include direct attacks on a political party and contains historical data and information on how a bill becomes a law.

The coloring book has sold “many thousands” according to St. Louis-based Really Big Coloring Books Inc. and death threats are being thrown around from the more violently-inclined left leaning folks opposing the views in the children’s book. Running with this controversy and Fox News coverage, the makers the Tea Party book plan on releasing more in the “coloring books that are really for crazy adults” series including: Paint By Numbers Abortion, Connect the Dots of the 9/11 Conspiracy to Obama, The Draw Mohammad Sketch Pad, and Circle the Gay Kid Activity Book

Oh Dana, Couldn’t You Dress Up a Little For Your TV Appearance?

St. Louis’ own conservative poster child Dana Loesch was on cable news the other night…take a guess which channel. If you guessed LOGO, you should really read the internet more often. The answer was of course Fox News and in particular, the Bill O’Reilly show where Dana was on to talk about recent Tea Party rally where allegedly racist remarks were yelled at our very own African-American State Congressman Emmanuel Cleaver.

Here is our summary:

Dana Loesch: Hi I’m Dana. I decided to dress punk princess to make sure I’m different than all the other TV people and in the presence of O’Reilly I’m way more cutesy than normal.  Also I think…

Bill O’Reilly: I like to interrupt everyone, even people that are on my side of the aisle, which even if you agree with me, makes my show very difficult to watch. No one understands but whatever, lets talk about the rally.

Dana:  I looked at a lot of video of the rally and its clear this was a leftist plot to make up the fact that no one actually said anything racist.  And another thing…

Bill: Well look, just because there’s no video of it, doesn’t mean its not true. We have no reason not to believe the Congressman.

Dana: He’s from my state. [Sarah Palin wink]

Bill: [Ignoring her.] We don’t know…

Dana: Well.

Bill: it was that was…

Dana: Yeah…but…

Bill: but clearly something was said, but it annoys me that this is news.

Dana: Totally. Don’t forget about this other thing that I think should have been important but no one agrees and I’m still trying…

Bill: I don’t care either actually.

Dana: I still can’t believe people would make this issue up!

Bill: How do you know its made up?

Dana: Because its wasn’t on video.

Bill: That’s dumb.

Dana: But this Congressman voted for health care so he must be a liar.

Bill: I’m sorry, that’s even too crazy for me.

Seriously, that’s how it went down. We swear, and watch for your self below (the jump).

I think no matter your politics, we can all agree that it’s really something when you’re farther right than Bill O’Reilly.

Sorry Dana (and fans) for a little ribbing, but we haven’t poked fun at Dana for a while.  We think she’s cool with it…

Hmm. Or not.

Charles Jaco Might be Getting Sued, but He Definitely Can’t Find a Good Comeback

We are hearing from our friends at STLMedia.net that Punching Kitty super-fan, as well as 550 talk show host and Fox2 reporter Charles Jaco might have some files charged against him.  No details other than that yet.

We do however have proof that Chuck ain’t one for the comebacks.  STLMedia via SharpElbows.net posted a recent video recorded by someone at a Tea Party rally trying to get a rise out of Jaco.

Jaco didn’t fare well.  Actually neither side did.

After being pushed by the uploader to say what the term “tea bagging” meant, Jaco just repeated “Well do you know what it is?”  Zing!  Jaco 1, other guy 0.  Then the video gets boring as the video guy and Jaco partake in a verbal slap fight, neither one of them coming out looking all that smart or witty.

Here’s the end result…

Jaco comes off looking mean, and frankly, very unbecoming of a reporter who is supposed to be objective while reporting the news.  None of this is a surprise mind you given our history with him.

The camera holder, doesn’t come off looking well either.  He comes off looking desperate in trying to bait Jaco and then overreacting when he was “bumped” by the Fox 2 reporter.  This may surprise you, especially Jaco, but if he is getting charges for the “bumping” in this video, then that’s a farce.  Jaco shouldn’t have done it, but we don’t agree with charges on something as stupid as that.

Wait.  What’s that?  Oh, I’m already bored with this story.

Check out the video on YouTube

[Editor's Note: Just to be clear, we have just found this video and are linking to it for news purposes.  We haven't met Charles Jaco or the other guy in the video, and all of the above are theories and jokes.  Also, its time for the Soul Train Line! We wish you love, peace and soul!]
