It Took 11 Days to For Someone to Notice a Dead Body at the Ameristar Parking Garage

When you come to St. Charles to gamble at the Ameristar, you better be focused. This is the big time. Vegas?! Whatever. You come to the Ameristar for one thing: to play…and listen to 80′s cover bands in one of their theme bars, so ok, two things. Regardless, you need to be locked the hell in the minute you park your car. Not just focused mind you, but “don’t notice that obviously dead lady in her car” locked in.

About 12 days after she parked 13 spaces from the Ameristar Casino’s fourth-floor garage entrance, a passer-by finally noticed Hattie Bradley’s body Friday morning.

Bradley, 62, had died days earlier, apparently of natural causes, police said.

[She was found after] a man walked up to the Mustang between midnight and 12:30 a.m. Friday and asked whether Hadley was OK. When she didn’t respond, the man went into the casino to gamble, he said. When he came out, about 3:30 a.m., Bradley was in the same position, and he realized something was wrong.

He knocked on her window and asked he she was ok, but after not zero response, not even a twitch — because she was freaking dead — he decided that “she’s fine…or not. Don’t care. Must gamble.”?! Oh yeah, St. Louis city is a cold horrible place but people in St. Charles County…they really care. Someone should go check on this guy’s kids immediately, he might be under the impression that they’ve been napping for the last 5 years to give him more time to finally master roulette.

Police Investigating Dude Found Shot in the Street

Welcome to St. Louis, where you can just find dudes shot dead in the street and no one, not even the police, have any ideas how it happened.

St. Louis police are investigating the death of a man found lying in the street early Saturday morning.

When officers arrived they found Patrick L. Robinson, 30, of the 800 block of Wall Street, lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the chest.

“We do not have any details as to what led to the shooting or the circumstances surrounding the shooting,” said Erica Van Ross, public information director for St. Louis Metropolitan Police.

Initials reports indicated it was Sam Bradford, killing himself after coming to terms with the idea that he was probably going #1 to the Rams in this months NFL draft, proved false.

It’s rare that we get asked for our thoughts on on-going murder investigations but our thoughts? …well remember this? St. Louis is Looking For 24 of You, and It Will Find You

It’s happening!  The city itself has begun to kill people because we Kumbaya-ed ourselves into a lower murder total and it’s pissed.

Or the guy stepped on someone’s Jordans or something. We don’t know, but our answer is was cooler.

The St. Louis Connection to Corey Haim

Everyone knows by now that have the world’s supply of popular 80s icons named Corey has been dropped by half after the news yesterday of Corey Haim’s death that made the world stand up and say “Oh yeah! …Wait, which one was he?”

But did you know that there was a late-life connection between Haim and St. Louis?  …and it was right under TMZ’s nose!

Seen on the right and below, looking like he took an overdose of cool rather than horse tranquilizer or whatever is Corey Haim rocking the t-shirt of the band Unset. which is on the St. Louis-based label Gridiron Records!

If that name sounds familiar, its because it should. Former Ram Kyle Turley is cranking out music these days and is also a Gridiron Records artist.

Having your band’s t-shirt on the front page of TMZ attached to the biggest celeb story of the day is some nice promotion and very convenient that Turley’s record was just released Tuesday…

Do we think Gridiron Records saw these pictures were taken and because of that had Haim killed and then quietly leaked these photos and the news to TMZ?

No, we don’t.

But that would be pretty god damned metal of them if they did.

This isn’t really all that news worthy, or interesting, but I just love the juxtaposition of the headline and the NBC news lady on the right.
